I've always enjoyed writing and have written plays, short stories and longer works. However, my favourite genre has always been fantasy: I love world-building, from creating different settings to seeing how the larger issues of politics, beliefs and injustice impact the daily lives of my characters.

 

My first novel, A Silent Song, brings together several of these elements. The main character suffers serious rejection due to being born mute, but larger problems will soon impact not just her but whole nations. Can she use her magical powers to fight a sinister enemy?
